You said your son uses a Sony modem, but the link you listed is to a Sprint one. Are they the same thing? Excuse my ignorance here, as I said, I am thoroughly confused and don't even know the right questions to ask.

I travel a bit between Canada, US and Mexico and am typically our of the US for up to five or six months a year. I have a Verizon Android and have been just changing to a Canada/Mexico data plan when traveling, but last year they raised their rates for international data roaming into the stratosphere so I'm looking for alternatives.
