$35/month for 10 or more gigs is practically free. Verizon's best plan for data in Mexico is $125 for 300 meg. and $5/meg after that. To use 2 gig it would cost $8,800. And on top of that, I still have to pay the $40/month for U.S. data which I wouldn't be using! When I was there last winter that plan was only something like $80 for 2 gig. They must figure it is more profitable to trap a few suckers than to actually provide a service people will use. (end of rant)

Dan, I have always wanted to visit the Rio Dulce, but taking the boat down is not really an option for me. Any place to stay there for a month or two that is reasonable and that you would recommend?
