Thanks for the tips folks. I'll put it on the agenda this summer..Here's one of our favorite Maine island things to find. A Native American shell midden, complete with lots of ancient debris from past feasts, with a fire pit to boot. Doesn't look like much and they are kind of hard to find..Lots of them though on the smaller islands...mnh
