I've asked this before, do they keep a record of past Power Squadron courses? 
In Response To: Boating safety certificate required in most states?? ()
I took one nearly 30 years ago and of course I haven't a clue where the certificate is. I think I was told you can still get an authorizationth through the group? Anybody know? Is that an accepted certificate?

- Last count I saw was 39 states required something

- Oregon has required it for a few years.
- Required in Oregon. Short test, Powr Squadrn courses available.
- WHat happened in Oregon is of course too many folks with zero knowledge of the rules of the road.
- In Canada it's a national requirement that was phased in gradually.dually over the years
- NC limits it to folks under 26.
