If the description doesn't clarify that the Sailmaster is a cut above the other models, you should be sure it does for us poorly informed sorts! Otherwise, the cheaper non Sailmasters become your competition anyway, seems to me.

Perhaps you have a location, location, location issue. A brokerage with more walk-in traffic might help. That might give a chance to sell to someone who thought they really wanted a smaller boat.

You might get a better time investment from a good broker if you do an exclusive listing. Some people don't trust a for sale by owner boat.
