I've been using Hydrocoat. I too had a few pounds of shellfish stuck to the keel last fall.

() But I've gone to putting less ablative on the bottom to keep the build up down. I'm happy with it though, it seems about on par with any other ablative I've used, regardless of price. I'm using about 2 quarts a season on my full keel boat.
