I woundn't agree with those placements

My biggest disagreement would be the placement of a chart plotter and radar. If you have to have one at one place, I believe it should be at the helm. If you use your chartplotter in tight situations, you really need to see it from the helm in my opinion; and the radar would be close to useless unless to me unless you can have it within a few feet of the your face and fingers ;^)))

We find that we adjust our multi-function displays often, so having them where they are convenient to the helm also makes a lot of sense. We have instrument read-outs in the sea hood (i.e. over the companionway and under the dodger) which we reference also. Generally we leave those on SOG, True Wind Speed, and Depth -- but we could make them any value by toggling them.
