who started out on a very nice day, to tow the dink. The weather went to crap and they (husband and wife) felt they had to bring it on deck to store. They were using a halyard. The dink swing out and then back in hard! Almost killed him. Lucky it was a close miss. However the wooden seat exploded when the side of the dink impacted the side of the boat.
Scared me! We very rarely tow the dink unless it's for only an hour or 2 to the next anchorage.
But I do have to say, our PortaBoat tows very easy. It also gets up on a plane (with one of us) with our 3.5 HP To-hot-to.
