7000 miles, twice across Gulf Stream, twice across Tongue of the Ocean
In Response To: We know a fellow cruiser ()

Twice across NW Channel. All over Bahamas. Twice across part of Gulf of Mexico. And MANY miles inshore, up and down east coast, from Miami to Annapolis and back to Texas.

Had problems only three times, all within one hour, coming off the Chesapeake into the Elizabeth River and that was because the inflatable was not properly inflated.

Haven't noticed a huge loss of speed, but you must have the mind set that the dinghy is expendable, should the crap hit the rotator.

7'6" Achilles by the way, towed behind a Meridian 25.
