Americans can never be objective about Israel social policy because a) they are anti-Semitic for whatever bizarre reason and b) Israel is as bad as the USA in fucking around with peoples' human rights. The national service is perceived in America as a system that is a handmaiden for exploitive insanity. You know, when I went to the Holocaust museum, I asked the minimum wage black person at the gift shop and the minimum wage black janitor- how do you like working for Jews? You know what they both said? The Jews treat me better because they are guilty about exploiting blacks, although that does not stop them. They are horrible bosses.
