We are planning to install a bow thurster, so will need large cable (perhaps up to 0000, about 1/2" dia each conductor, if we do not install a battery beside the motor.)
Welding cable is attractive, since cost is not too bad and it is very flexible for working with.

I would solder and tin terminals

Any comments?

Any other type of cable to consider?
