I thought I found a great purchase years ago. Home Depot had 12 v Rigid Drills with a lifetime warrenty on the Batteries. Today I went to have one replaced. I felt on a boat a battery drill was a good item for any drilling I needed to do away from the dock and without stringing a power cord.

Well.... today I went to exchange it and they wanted a phone number from the registration. I never had the sales person nor never saw in the manual that the drill batteries needed to be registered! So now I may be outa luck. I have their phone number and we'll see. If I can' get it replaced I will do my best to Never buy another from them again. I don't like the bait and switch tactics that companies are using.

So... should you have one of their life time guaranteed batteries find what you need to get it registered!
