Is your boat an Alubat? How heavy is the centerboard and what is your draft bd-up/down.? I would assume your rudder is more effective when the board is down? How does the daggerboard affect rudder and when do you use that?
Like Steve mentioned, the little I know about wing keels is their biggest attribute is to add lower ballast. And then there's the plate catching more stuff(pot warp around here). It seems another 6" or so could have been added in the design. I wonder why the designer didn't?
