In Response To: AIS survey... ()
went to Raymarine 650 transmitter. Of course we transmit on Channel B. I'm told and can confirm "Marine Traffic" picks up Channel "A" regularly and "B" only when the transmitting unit is under way and then sometimes. Yet, every time I hail a tug or other ship and ask if the see me, then respond "yes" even though I'm not picked up on Marine Traffic.
