Bow thruster, I don't want one but It's really needed.
I have found on my boats.....two errors in backing consistently made.
The only times I have backed into a slip...
My only hope would be to attempt that from the opposite direction.
Depends on the boat....
Yeah I find turning while going forward to work very well
I just backed into my slip today for the first time
I always backed my Pearson Triton into the slip
No doubt practice is the key...
Always back in my Tartan 30.
