Tom, OOOH to be 60 again! I'm 68 now, will be 69 in July. I still do my own work---bottom, waxing the hull, bright work. Its partly a matter of economics, but I like it and feel a sense of accomplishment when it turns out fine. I get enough ribbing from the boat yard employees about splashing in by July 4, but that's ok. I should be in shortly after Memorial Day this year. Of course, there are things I leave to the pros--spray painting, for example, and some engine work. But, despite the muscle aches and my groans, I can't see stopping just yet. So, 60 ain't bad. 68 could be worse.
Christmas, as always, is beautiful.
