single-handing his Flicka all over the Sea of Cortez and west coast of Mexico. At least until this last season when he pulled his boat for the haul back home. After many winters in Mexico he has finally decided it is time to re-access his sailing priorities. He is already in as small boat a boat as is practical , but finds the long night passages tiring, and his minimalist accommodations wearing as well. He is still amazingly healthy and walks several miles a day when ashore, but still he knows it's time. It is, I expect, a wise decision all things considered ...but he will be missed in our part of the sea.
