That's a nice piece of writing.

Almost makes me wish it was that foggy when I was in Mud Hole - but not quite. We bumped the rock on the way in, but missed it going out. We spent one night in there, as well as two nights in Cows Yard. Cows Yard (and all of Head Harbor) was empty except for us - and a couple who rowed out to visit from their local home on Head Harbor Island. I think they said they live there year round, and have a local lobsterman bring provisions from Jonesport. I and our teenaged crew dingied to Man Isl. and climbed up, but the eagles gave us a hard time and we left. I'm always amazed what a slippery combination is made by kelp and rocks.
Jonesport is a funny place - we never did find the Yacht Club. We looked for a coin laundry and were told that the closest was in Millbridge - which we'd left two day prior!
A place I'd love to return to..
