In fact it was hard to start this spring, however the boat was layed up for nearly 8 months(we hauled early and were blocked in by another boat this spring so went in on Memorial Day weekend). I figured it was because it had sat so long, it ran fine in the fall.

As far as cost, no idea. The boat is at another marina now which I do not have access to. The buyer was pretty much straight up, was easy to work with and didn't really dicker on the asking price. If I was the buyer I would have expected to get a boat in good running condition, if he would split this with me 50-50 I would be more than happy, there are some things that will probably be part of the work that I don't think I should have to pay for. He is going to replace all the filters, air, fuel and oil, plus change at least one of the injectors.

To be honest, I just want this to go away so we can move on.
