And you can see she grew up sailing too and knows how to combine the two. I think the vast resource of old boats for dwellings is untapped. On the other hand, to move onto a sailboat because you need housing, could become a national disaster in this country!

So many (myself included) are fascinated today by micro-small housing. She shows the side of living on a boat through a travelers eyes, that is so compelling. But that takes experience, knowledge and skill to combine the two, housing and sailing.

Then she shows the popular theme of living a minimal life that is in fashion(again) today. If you spend much of your life on a sailboat, it will change how you live on shore(it has me). It's a good lesson for anyone.

I hope an exodus of people without those experiences and skills don't start moving onto old boats. On the other hand, I know a lot of kids like her, that have sailing experience and skills that may in fact do something similar.

She's terrific and will go places.
