Or do you mean in general? Certainly more boats are going to flood the used market! I'm amazed at how low asking prices are and how the non-value boats are growing in number and length.
But I sort of see another trend of boomers taking some new paths instead of the regular retirement routes.
I've had an older guy store his boat next to me for a few years. He has an old wooden boat that's sort of gotten away from him. But a similar battle is being fought by many aging boat owners. A yard worker told me the guy would be storing his old woodie at home this fall.
I asked, "so he's going to do some work on it?"
the yard guy said, "Nope. Next step is compost"
