Cruising Sailors Forum Archive

Jill just reminded me....
In Response To: Nor'sea 27 it looks like. ()

about the young couple we met in the SF Bay area when we were getting ready to cruise. They sailed there Nor'Sea from Alaska, down the west coast, out into the South Pacific, got pregnant in Tahiti, delivered in New Zealand (had the "Kicking Kiwi), and back. Never published any stuff, just had a great time for a few years.

Also our friends aboard the Nor'Sea Plume ( http://plume.flupes.org/ ). They bought it new, Finished the inside as a kit. Sailed down the coast through Mexico for quite a while, and are now back in the SF Bay area.

AND, Ed & Ellen Zacko, built there Nor'Sea Entr'acte, ( http://www.enezacko.com/ ) from a kit, sailed across the Atlantic a few times. Then through the Panama Canal and out across the South Pacific. Then shipped it to France (for US$3,000.00) and sailed the canals to the Med and back to Sevilla, Espana, where the boat is now. By the way, they just flew back here to Az. and we will be going to a party at there house later this month...

Believe me, if the boat was not big enough, this would NOT be taking place! NONE of these people are minimalist types or old Hippies!!!!
