But then all it takes is one "accident" and there is "wet" down there.... such as pulling a hose loose before it has drained all the way, or leaving the companion way open during rain... oops.

Darn thing is deep though. I can't really reach the bottom of my bilge, unless I put my whole upper body into the opening at the floorboard, and then just barely.

It dries fairly quickly though. But no doubt, not a good place for storage. GRIN
