I tend to agree around an inch high. I also put crumb scuppers in mine.....

Sometimes wish they were even higher than the current 2"
too high gets in the way.
This galley counter on an early 60's CCA racer cruiser is all SS.
Looks like a nice small commercial kitchen!
How thick was the Corian??
All the Corian I've seen has been 1/2" thick
I believe you can get Corian in 1/4' and 3/4" as well, don't know about the knock-offs. Cheers, John
If you are doing Corian, you might consider this method...
