While I did a lot of work on the boat, the interior and exterior finish was all done by Bruckmann. The counters were their idea, and their standard practice. It did come out nice though, eh? My contribution was mainly cost increases and schedule delays (caused by a lot of supervision, design work, and custom fitting machining).
The saloon looks like this. Just as complicated are the things you can't see. Almost all of the bulkheads are composite panels bonded to the structure and then veneered with Cherry, with the corners rebated for real corner posts (otherwise is ends up looking "Euro"); the floorboards are carbon fiber sandwich with a 1/4" overlay of solid teak and basswood - that sort of thing. I have to tell everyone, otherwise I'm the only one that would know .
