Good point Max, thanks … Conserving water by way of forced savings ...
In Response To: Good question ()

in a smaller sink is a wise thought. Have been looking at a few Galley arrangements on Morris boats, noticed most sinks look a bit on the small side, and I bet that's why. On the other hand, we do as you do … we wind up filling a bowl or pot from dinner with soapy water, that's in one of the sinks, clean other stuff in that, and dry in the other sink, we also have a folding dish-dry rack that is used daily. We do wind up putting a number of things in both sinks while under way. But, I'm kinda leaning towards Tom's opinion. I just remodeled a tiny kitchen in a tiny guest house or ours, went back & forth on this very same issue, wound up with one larger (although still small 24" for a house) sink, and am happy with that decision. And yes, have salt water and fresh water foot pumps at the Galley in addition to a Scandvik Mixer, wash with salt and rinse with fresh from the foot pump. Like the idea of the spray bottle. Cheers, John
