In addition to

the DVDs and over the air & net shows. I have used a couple of free software packages to backup our library of DVD stuff, TV series and movies, to a small portable hard drive. I use "DVD Decrypter" to backup to an ISO file, then use "Handbrake" to spin out an MP4 file of just the video file that is very small, compared to a full size file. They are not as good as watching the full DVD on a big 50 inch screen, but on a smaller screen you can hardly tell the difference.

We had a small drive with us for quite some time but I have recently picked up a Seagate GoFlex Satellite Mobile Wireless enabled 500 GB hard drive (http://www.amazon.com/Seagate-Satellite-Wireless-External-STBF500101/dp/B004Z0S7K6/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1390583753&sr=8-3&keywords=wifi+portable+hard+drive ). It holds hundreds of the small size videos!!!

Now we can just use our tablet's or computer's WiFi to connect to it and watch any of our stuff without ANY cables or digging for or storing any of our DVDs aboard.

Just an idea.....
