Yikes it's hot in there
How difficult is access to the tank?
Thanks Larry
I like this idea, Thanks
I'm not sure of the temp, but I have felt the warmth.
From www.propane.com.
Good info, any idea how hot the solenoid would be to melt rubber gas line?
Parker hose is rated to 180 degrees F
Doesn't sound right.
I have not checked the amp draw it did read 170 deg F
Follow up on propane solenoid
I went though that same issue last season
Sounds wrong
Or can't be used at all. I fixed one of those with a band saw though. NOW you can get the gas back out
Solenoid costs $21.90 at scrubber city, $59.99-121.99 Defender, $107.99-152.99 West Marine
Isn't the "retail" $49.95?
Yes the retail is higher but the cost we paid was $21.90 plus shipping
Are the West Marine and Defender over twice retail?
Put whatever label you like and pay as much as you want
In Mexico
West Marine at twice retail is about normal these days.
I use the same
Thank You Maine Sail
Does the AFC 151 have to be on the high preasure side of the regulator?
Solenoid can be used depending on it's rating on either
Is it just because it's on the "tank side" to use it before the regulator?
Don Casey recommends its' placement on the (tank) high side
Most low pressure
The manual for the Trident SV-1
I ment the FireBoy - Xintex LPG Propane Solenoid
The SV-1
It seems all low pressure regluators themselves

Thanks -- I just ordered one
I think it would connect between the hose connector to the tank and the regulator?
My regulator attaches to the tank
Figured it out
You may need something like this, Larry
I have one, Doug
When I did this I had to buy pipe dope
Thanks, I have some
