There is something about this that doesn't ring true. How do we know that he is not "putting us on" and playing some prank to get a rise out of those on this board who know a great deal and have much experience (not I)? I don't think he has read the classics--Moitessier, Smeeton, Chichester, Hal Roth and many, many others---Jeanne Socretes, most recently. Perhaps he is sitting there having a good laugh. If so, it isn't funny.
