The only bash I've done ...

was a delivery of a Catana 47 catamaran. The actual bash was easy. We hung out at Mag Bay for a day or so waiting for the winds to abate, but the rest of Baja was a breeze (pardon the pun). The only real wind we had was between Catalina Is. and Santa Barbara where we got blown back to Two Harbors where we waited for it to blow itself out. Going south in 2005 was easy for us with great luck in timing both the Tejuanapeac and Papaguyao. We wound up motoring as much as sailing. Fortunately, when we finally made it to Ecuador, we were able to load up on diesel at $1.36/gal.
