The best stuff I've come across if from the people who do "Astronaut Food" under their "Backpacker's Pantry" label. http://www.backpackerspantry.com/
Great stuff. I always bring along a stash of extra spices based off of what I brought for food, but I found that the Backpacker's Pantry stuff needs few additions.
