Particularly for 7 months! Might still have the surface charge from charging. Sign of a good system with no leakage.
I installed a Victron system last month and put the batteries on overnight charge - mainly to zero the Victron unit. With no usage, the house bank hung in there at 12.6. Didn't drop until I started to use it a bit - doing some work on the boat and needed some tunes!
I hauled May 18 (after being in since April 15, 2013) and went back in May 21. My first winter in the water, and the bottom looked fine. Powerwashed, had a yard grunt sand the bottom (my sanders and paper), I painted, and then launched. While he sanded, I overhauled a hull valve (hence the tunes). Also took the time to strip some rusty accessories off the engine (leaky SW fitting), de-rusted, primed with 2 part epoxy (Interprotect), and painted. Engine started first try after all the removal/replacement - guess I got everything back in the right place? Took the Admiral for a sail on Saturday May 24 - just fine! Came back and had dinner at a new local German restaurant - I liked their rouladen better than mine, but I prefer my spaetzle (gotta work on my rouladen - need thinner beef slices..).
