It's quite old but a good Fluke meter, in it's day. So like I said, it's the relationship of the batteries readings that tell me what general state they're in(age, charge).
With no charge on the starting battery, I cranked the engine a few times to pump some oil through it. The battery after 7 months of self discharge, turned it over like a champ. It's beyond me why people charge them over the winter, never mind remove them. There's nothing gained.
I'm topping them off, checking electrolyte levels, one at a time while I work on the boat. With all these boat fires, I can't leave the charger on un-attended.
