Had a Fiat 600 thru grad school - got two of them for nothing and the best one had a siezed engine! Managed to put together one that worked! Lots of interesting issues working on them - ie: never did find a ridge reamer for the block (too small for auto tools, too big for lawnmower tools). Took the block to the Fiat dealer, and their mechanic started in with a half round file! I told him I didn't want to pay for his time that way, and finished the job myself with a half round file. Pulling the engine was exactly that - remove rear body panel, take out 4 bolts, grab each side then pull.
I'd drive that thing all week, and fill it up on Friday - and get change back from my dollar. It was a fun car!
