Anyone know who did the conversion to Li on Equus? What yard worked on her? She was not originally built or sold with Li so the Schmidt's must have had the conversion done.......??? System design for an LFP install is critical and I know of only a hand full of marine electricians and boat yards in the country with sufficient experience with Li to do this.. I do know the system was not Genasun so it could have been custom built...
On the professional level if anyone can steer me to the yard who has been servicing her recently or may have done the conversion I would be grateful. Brooklyn Boat Yard, Rockport Marine and Donald Tofias have not seen her in a few years...
It would be very hard to believe the reports if the batteries were LiFePO4. LiCoO2 maybe, but LiFePO4 does not behave the way the reports on Wooden Boat have described it.....
