One of the reasons I went with DeWalt, is they had a reasonably-priced vehicle charger for their batteries, as well... I don't like the idea of having to plug a drill into a cigarette lighter receptacle, how many times might you need to use it well out of reach of an outlet? I just used mine up the mast last weekend, for example...

I've been reasonably happy with my old 14.4 V right angle drill, and the XRP batteries seem to be a substantial improvement over the originals I had. I also have a couple of flashlights, and an 18V Wet/Dry Vacuum that comes in pretty handy on a boat. I know DeWalt is probably not the highest quality, but for the boat it's been fine...
