Never needed to charge. The voltage remained above 12.3 after 4 months

When we returned, we'd charge and then equalize. They were fine.
8 6 volt golf carts with a reserve of almost 900 amp hours. We kept them between 50 & 85 % at anchor with 2 hours of generator power a day
