I have a couple of sockets in the electrical panels and have problems keeping the plugs with the spring-loaded tips in place. As soon as a cord is jostled they lose contact and I don't realize it until my computer goes dead or something else. Also, I guess I am a bit irrationally sensitive. A poor design from early last century used to light (nasty) cigarettes and we still use it to charge our hot new electronics?
The best I have found so far are in the link. Will keep looking for something more than 5 amps. Of course I will need to keep one of the ciggy sockets and maybe an adaptor from the coax receptacle to a socket for visitors. I may be a bit irrational but I can be polite... sometimes.
