Notwithstanding that, I usually have a split screen at the helm as my default with two scales of chart views. The Furuno has both Raster and Vector charts available. The raster charts may not be practical for a VOR boat, but dual scales really provides better situational awarenessc

Having said that, the VOR Helm stations don't have those displays top sides, the depend on the navigators who have the screens below. They have to have multiple screen capacity. I think that The navigators and skipper/watch chiefs need to make the helm and deck crew aware.
