Interestingly, that bay is not listed in any of the Baja cruising guides as an anchorage, yet it is our favorite spot in Baja (we first discovered it while trolling for dinner in our dinghy, looked at it and immediately returned to our boat and reanchored there).
I spent three nights there last month and not a single other boat even came into the bay, let alone dropped anchor. Yet, a much larger bay only 10 minutes East had 8-15 boats in it every night and another larger bay about 15 minutes West had 5-10 boats in it every night. LIke this one, many of our favorite anchorages are ones that we've discovered and that aren't in the guide books. It just amazes me that people go to all the trouble of getting off the beaten path by taking a boat down to the Sea of Cortez, yet seem to be afraid to explore on their own.
Interestingly, Latitude 38 runs a photo of it about once a year, but never identifies it, instead saying something like they did in the caption of the photo they ran last month of another spot very nearby.
