Good thought. I've gotten used to leading the jacks to the mast.

Even though each side leans out from center(because of the outboard-spreader mounted blocks), it's still tricky to raise the sail without catching a jackline. And I think I prefer them gathered at the mast while sailing. Because I have to go to the mast to raise or lower the main, deploying the jacks is easy.

This season, I want to be able to sail on and off anchor/moorings,...easier. This re-set of the Lazy jacks may be what I need to contain the whole sail, on top of the boom.
