Now that we're land based both the Admiral and I want to set up a weather station on the house. In doing some research I'm finding that many personal consumer weather stations are going wifi and online. With that taking place there are a number of online apps and internet weather sites that let you put your home weather station information online. I downloaded a free app called 'Wunderstation' and found thousands of personal weather stations online all over the world. There are 5 within a mile of my house I connected to and I don't have a weather station yet, Just the free Wunderstation app

For both Ipad and Android and also lists all the offshore bouy and government weather station information as well. No swell info unfortunately.

Anyone that uses a tablet or smartphone for weather info might find it useful.
