Sailing instruments all have real time windspeed and direction. I can't seem to find any weather station that will give me 'real time' wind direction and speed. I'm used to it and want to see the wind direction needle and windspeed indicator show in real time. On the boat we'd look at the the wind instruments, feel the gusts and listen to the windspeed pick up all at the same time. I can't find any instrument that has real time wind information. Everything on the market has a 5 second or more lag or update. I keep thinking that if I could find one that was wired I could get real time wind information but nothing is wired.

Anyone know of a weather station that will show windspeed and direction in real time instead of updating at intervals? I want to see that darn needle move and watch as the speed picks up.
