How about a virtual weather station?
In Response To: Difficulty finding a wired weather station ()
I use weatherbug and it has a needle that moves and responds, it seems, to the quick changes in the wind.
Weatherbug is hosted at local schools... so perhaps there is a weather station somewhere near you, and you can pick that station for your "live shots."
