PS -- the PumpAlarm uses a small power brick ("wall wart") that converts AC to 12vdc. I asked the owner (they're a small outfit) if they thought about the marine market and he said he has no interest at this time. However, I see no reason it couldn't be hardwired to the boat's 12v and used as a bilge water monitor, or if you leave a boat on shore power it could be used with the 120v adapter to also alert you if shore power goes off.
