anchorage on the "Sea" side of the Baja just north of Cabo called "Fralies". We cruised around the other boats and found a great little spot and dropped 150 feet of chain and settled into an easy afternoon among to 15 or so other boats. We fired up the barbie and burnt some stakes and was down below watching some TV when we heard (and felt) a boat crash into the front of us. It turned out this French guy dropped his anchor in the middle of the fleet with at least 250 feet of nylon. Every other boat was on chain going nowhere and this guy was sailing all over creating havoc. It turned out he arrived prior to us so I had to haul my anchor up in the dark and go off shore in the middle of the night so this idiot could sail all over the anchorage. Yes, I know, it was my fault for not looking at every anchor to make sure the were all chain prior to picking my spot but, come on, don't you think he should have anchored like every other boat and used chain?
