You've got power at the dock to take care of the main problem-untenable heat. When you're off, I can't imagine you'll need AC or want to deal with having to supply the power via. a diesel generator. Being at anchor is a natural form of AC as opposed to most docking situations(and docks, where ever you go, will have power).
If it turns out you need AC at anchor, you could add the generator later.
You made a great step in becoming more self sufficient by adding your wind generator. At this point, you could add a bit more alternative charging, like more solar, and become more self sufficient. That is if you don't add more power demands at anchor.
