They are quiet (to a point), but without a good engine compartment sound shield OR the prefabricated one for the Panda, I'm not sure would be happy.
The Pandas do need service -- which means you have to get to access points. Make sure, in your ell grass filled Southern New England waters that you use a filter system that you can access -- then a flow alarm on the raw water flow. With a light block, you really DON'T want it to overheat.
I still can't imagine how you find a place to mount and access a generator. They really optimized space on your Sabre 386 as I recall!
