At least if you can keep your load of junk down enough so it get airborne. Then you could see 30 knots! This 40 foot Cat weighs just 6k.

I just had a thought. What if this foil tech makes a breakthrough, and you can bolt them on any boat? Imagine an early 80's Whitby 42 going by you at 30 knots?

- I thought the stock Gunboat is pretty fast
  - Is a soft grounding when it turns turtle and buries the mast against the bottom
  - Sure but, open ocean, think of the miles you could cover going 30 knots.
