All that stuff hanging below a multi kinda kills the shallow water advantage of said multi.

Sure 30 knots is probably way fun... Boy it would sure change the "run" to and from Catalina... which from San Diego is typically a 12-15 hour slog...

Wow and think about what a rig like that would do to Transpac...

Speaking of foils... we were over in Sail Bay in Mission Bay in San Diego about a week ago... couple of guys with kite boards were zipping around up on foils... it was quite a sight; those things really move.

Finally, a truly FAST cruising sailboat.
